Casa Leone is centrally located in the coastal town Buggerru in south-western Sardinia. The village with its approx. 1,000 inhabitants offers all year round the main shopping facilities, restaurants and bars, a pharmacy and an ATM. Next to the small harbor of Buggerru there is a nice sandy beach, followed by the long sandy beaches of San Nicolao and Portixeddu. A good 2 km away from Buggerru lies the beautiful bay of Cala Domestica, which is often mentioned as one of the most beautiful beaches in Sardinia. Buggerru also has a well-known surfing school. The southwest of Sardinia was heavily influenced by mining in the past, and Buggerru itself was built around 1864 as a mining town. Witnesses of this period are the remains of the Malfidano Mine and the Galleria Henry. Casa Leone is renovated with attention to detail, the house is located in the central Via Roma and only 800 m from the beach. Particulary appealing is the combination of modern, bright furniture with antique wooden cabinets, bed frames, tables and drawers and beautiful hanging lamps. Various-coloured cushions and old-fashioned tiles in the bathrooms provide some colourful splashes. This apartment has a separate entrance and comprises a living room with a sofa bed for one person, dining area and a well equipped kitchenette, two bedrooms and two modern bathrooms with walk in shower (one of the bathrooms is ensuite). Between the two bedrooms is a small courtyard furnished with table and chairs.
